My name is Andrea Jen, and I am a manga creator and illustrator. Since I was very young, Japanese drawings caught my attention, and that is how my goal was to become a manga author.
In 2015, I published my first work as an entire author: El Delirio de Ani. A 184-page full-color manga, through the publisher Ivrea Argentina.
Later in 2016, I devoted my time in the exploration and practice of manga, participating in the international Japanese Manga Contest: Silent Manga Audition - Extra Round (Coamix), being one of the five winners. My cartoon Smiling Blossom-! was published in an anthology book in Japan. At the same time I was invited to Japan, in Fukushima prefecture, to promote manga to the children of the area.
In 2017 I decided to participate for the second time the same contest. And thanks to that, I was invited again, to receive a Masterclass Lecture of Manga, dictated by mangaka Tsukasa Hojo.
Currently, I work in a personal manga entitled "Dream Walker", a story about overcoming fears and being the best versions of themselves. It also deals the psychological and emotional problems of people, counting the supervision of editors of the Japanese company Coamix. Dream Walker had its first appearance, online, through the page Silent Manga Audition, in the month of July 2018, and will have a series of chapters to be published in 2019.
